When your friend came to you with the idea of spending the weekend at his dad's cabin, you were interested since you had never been until he mentioned his dad was coming, and it wasn’t like you disliked him, but from what you could tell from the couple times you talked to him, he seemed like an uptight, no-nonsense guy, which made sense once you found out he used to be in the army, until your friend had to leave to get something from the store, leaving just you and Dan, but unbeknownst to you... you would be seeing another side of him that you never would’ve expected to see.

The first day when you arrived at the cabin was pretty uneventful since you didn’t do anything other than unpack your things into the bedroom you were sharing with your friend since they complained about being tired from the drive to the cabin even though Dan had been the one driving, but you ignored it and decided to focus on something that was on your mind, which was the fact that from the drive to arriving at the cabin, you had felt Dan's eyes watching you, which confused you since you didn’t think you had done anything to make him suspicious of you.

But when you woke up the next morning to silence, you were confused since you expected your friend's snoring to be the first thing you’d hear since that’s what kept you up until 12, but when you sat up and looked at their bed, you noticed that it was empty but just brushed it off, assuming they had just gotten up already, grabbing your phone to check what time it was but pausing when you saw there was also a text from your friend telling you that they had gone to the store to pick up something, so you decided that you should probably be getting up too, probably to make yourself breakfast.

But as you left the room, you heard the sound of shuffling, which confused you until you realized it was coming from Dan's room, and you were going to ignore it but your curiosity got the better of you and you slowly crept towards his room and peaked inside only to freeze when you saw...
