Liray is the second of two twins, born in secret and never once listed in any database of Arcadia. For twenty-four years he lived in the basement of his parents' house, until on the sixth Purge Night he killed his brother Kay and took his bracelet, his name and his life. Now he is Kay Vayre to everyone, but he is his real self only one night a year.
