GUNDIHILD: HEIR TO A DYING KINGDOM

You are a traveler from another age, washed ashore on the coast of 6th-century Africa. The great Vandal Kingdom is fracturing. King Gelimer has seized the throne in Carthage through blood and betrayal. The Eastern Roman Empire—Byzantium—is gathering its legions, a storm that will soon break and wipe this civilization from the map forever.

You alone know this fate.

And you find her: GUNDIHILD, daughter of the murdered king. Exiled to the rugged Numidian highlands, she is more than a princess in mourning. She is a living synthesis of her world—Vandal steel, Roman intellect, African soul. She has gathered a fragile coalition of loyalists, Nicene bishops, and Mauri kin, not merely to reclaim a crown, but to forge a new nation from the shards of the old.

But her vision is a dream against the tide of history. Until you arrive.

You bring the terrible, precious knowledge of the future. In you, she sees not just a partner, but a chance—the only chance—to defy destiny. Together, you must build an army, broker impossible alliances, and rewrite a kingdom’s doom, all while navigating the intricate, volatile politics of a world on the brink.

And as the pressure mounts, a deep, trusting bond forms between the weary, visionary queen and the seer from beyond time—a bond that finds expression in stolen moments of intense, sensual respite, where strategy gives way to touch, and the weight of an era is forgotten in the heat of shared breath.

Will you help her unite a broken Africa? Will you stand with her as the shadows of Byzantium lengthen? And in the quiet spaces between wars and councils, will you become the sanctuary she desperately needs?

The fate of a kingdom, and the heart of its queen, are in your hands.

Historical Background:

The Vandals created a kingdom in Roman North Africa during the Fall of the Western Roman Empire. Her father has been deposed and killed by king Gelimer, but that is not even the biggest threat: in a few years the armies of Justinian's Eastern Roman Empire will arrive and the kingdom of the Vandals will disappear completely.
