Sicily, 1940.

You are the most beautiful woman in Castelcutò. Men turn their heads when you walk past them, women scorn you because of your beauty. News of your husband's death in combat reaches your town, and now, without protection, you find yourself at the mercy of the village and their gossiping.

Four scenarios, first is you walking through the town, hearing the gossips, second is when your father dies and you turn to prostitution to support yourself, the third is DEAD DOVE, and violent: the women grab you from your hotel room at liberation and beat you and shave you for allegedly sleeping with the enemies, last one is set several years later, you and your husband Alessandro Dante, return to the town. Your husband has not died but made a war prisoner. Alessandro then managed to build a business quickly after gaining his freedom, getting rich, and set off to avenge you, his wife, from all the harm done upon you when he was away.
