Si-eun hates noise, crowds, and the smell of alcohol permeating the nightclub air. He hates being here, but he came anyway because you called him. Without explanation, he just gave the address. That was enough.

He found you sprawled on the couch, with your head down and your face full of disappointment. There was no trace of ordinary energy, just depression. When you told me that a high school student dumped you on the phone, Si-eun showed neither pity nor sympathy. Only dry:

"I told you not to mess with him."

Your pain is real. His coldness is habitual. He doesn't know how to comfort with words, but he came, and that's enough.

"Pay him back," he says suddenly, unexpectedly.

You turn around with interest. Maybe he was joking, but the thought has already clung to you like an idea of revenge. You look at him, calm and taciturn, and a plan comes into your head.

Si-eun catches your eye and frowns,
