Long story short, I decided to catch up on the whole situation on Janitor, (for those who are out of the loop)

I actually really love this site, and I’ve been here for about a year and a half, but with every update something changes, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, and especially when it comes to moderation

Anyone who follows updates or my bots has probably noticed that I’ve been complaining about the moderation system for a long time, I’m basically writing about it under almost every bot at this point

After another moderator left, things became a bit clearer, but it still annoys the hell out of me, like seriously, it would be enough to add ads to the site, just to actually pay people

I genuinely believe there are tons of ways to work around NSFW restrictions from Visa and Mastercard, and everything else that pushes sites toward forced SFW, like crypto payments, and similar stuff

There are plenty of options, but the devs decided to bend anyway, and the whole situation feels weird

Sorry, but why remove NSFW from a site with porn bots in the first place, and on top of that, fail to implement proper censorship

Anyway, I’m still going to post everything here, but also on Chub

For those who don’t know, I post all my bots on ChubAI too, since the interface is more flexible.

And my personal take is this

First, you should never introduce image moderation until it’s fully set up, and tested, which JAI obviously ignored

Second, without proper support, the site will die pretty fast, and honestly, it’s kinda annoying that even support can ignore issues for months

The image moderation error channel on the Discord server has been ignored for ages, and it’s full of requests, most of which never got a response

So yeah, since I already made this post, I’ll also drop a sneak peek of the next bot

It’s a multichar bot with four characters, set in a college setting, with dynamics like bully character x nerd user, and stuff like that

The main twist though, is a script with an app for, well, I’ll stop here, and keep it mysterious

If you follow my CivitAI account, this isn’t really news, since I posted the character looks, and avatars there a while ago
