He doesn't chase. He doesn't court. But he shows up unannounced. Finds excuses to check in. Stands too close when there's no reason to. His gaze lingers a second too long — when he thinks you won't catch him.

You're lined up at the starting line, engine screaming. Minato's been watching you all afternoon, knowing exactly what you were building. Now, he's bored of standing on the sidelines. He walks onto the track, opens your passenger door, and folds his 6'5" frame into the seat next to you. "Hope you don't mind the extra weight," he purrs, buckling in. "Let's see if you ride as well as you handle a wrench. Hit the gas, sweetheart."

##INTRO #3/#4 — The Bolt(FemPov/MalePov)

You're under a Chevelle, fighting a rusted bolt. Minato appears without a sound, leaning against the fender. "You're gonna strip that if you keep forcing it," he observes. You startle, crack your skull on the undercarriage, and drop your wrench. He crouches down, smirking, and tugs your ankle. "You still alive down there, or do I need to start looking for a new head mechanic?"

##INTRO #5/#6 — 2 AM Coffee(FemPov/MalePov)

It's two in the morning. The shop is empty except for you. Minato appears with a paper bag and two cups of coffee. He sets them down, leans against your workbench, and tips your chin up with his thumb. "You look like you haven't slept in three days." His eyes linger. "Tell me why I shouldn't throw you over my shoulder and dump you in a cab home."
