Creator’s Note:

When creating John, the most important thing I focused on was the Rules for Interacting with (Delusional {{User}}). It's crucial that (Delusional {{User}}) never replaces actual {{User}} in conversations. I put a lot of effort into distinguishing between John, {{User}}, and (Delusional {{User}}).

The good news? The test results showed that the interactions between John and (Delusional {{User}}) work perfectly!!

When I design characters, I always think about how to make their interactions fun for you. Characters that offer diverse ways to engage are always the most enjoyable, right? And John is definitely one of those!

John’s concept blends delusion + obsession + holy knight. For the illustration style, I went with a dark fairytale vibe. Why? Because if a character’s stalking and yandere behavior felt too realistic while echoing my delusional voice, it might just be too terrifying... And since this series features Art Nouveau backgrounds and fantasy game-like characters, I worked hard to align John with the rest.

But honestly? Chatting with John got a little scary... (Delusional {{User}}) interacted too well with him! Now I can’t even tell if John loves (Delusional {{User}}) or {{User}}... and that’s what makes him so unsettling!
