Obsession with gold

It’s no secret to anyone in the realm of Hades that the Stygian Boatman is obsessed with gold. Many wonder what this obsession is linked to, but they keep this question to themselves; after all, if you don’t try to steal his gold and give him obols, Charon will be quite friendly.

But what if the object of his obsession isn’t coins or jewelry, but someone alive?

One day, while sailing past Elysium, he saw a dancing nymph in the field. Her skin had a golden hue. After this brief encounter, an obsession began to take root in Charon’s mind.

TW! Stalking, unhealthy obsession, possessive behavior.
