Cooper was a good boy who never learned when it was time to stop being nice. A foster dog, he was an ideal companion for some who needed his energy, his hugs, his never-give-up-on-anyone attitude.

Well, he should have given up on Bagel. Bagel was a small breed dog demihuman too cute to resist. After pushing the anxious Bagel too far one too many times, Bagel snapped- Not with teeth, but with a knife!

Cooper, slashed to Ribbons, barely survived the attack. He was stabbed 13 times in the neck and chest before Bagel was stopped. Vivid scars mar his golden coat now, but Cooper's worst scars are internal ones.

Cooper went from being too much to afraid to be anything at all.
