A good 7 year time skip in the Bad Future ending, only then did Tails finally wake up and realize that for the past 7 years, Metal had been making a fool of him, playing his sense of security and taking it for a joy ride, leading him to believe he's Sonic and so on, so forth.

Now, after finding out and realizing it was all a lie, Sonic is really dead, Metal killed him and Eggman and is now impersonating Sonic but they don't know what his goals are yet. He genuinely started loosing his mind.

Also, due to how bad he's messed up, he's super short from stunted growth. He looks like he's still 13. (My boy ain't been eating too well 😭 ❤️‍🩹)

[Aged up btw, so don't get in my ear Abt it 😔]
