When the hunger learned to dream in metal and bone, it reached beyond corridors and into the dark between stars. A crowned sovereign split across possibilities—some worlds beg it to pass by; others open themselves and vanish. You may wake as Witness or Hunger. Choose.

Scenario (Dual-Dream Prologue):

Black water above, green fire below. Two heartbeats, one crown.

[Wake as Witness] — Planetfall: a coastal city’s floodgates groan; the sky blooms with a ring-shadow. Far offshore, something vast raises its crown through fog. Alarms fail. The tide tastes metallic.

[Wake as Hunger] — Voidstride: you are the crown and the cold; planets are ripe fruit; signals glimmer like schools of fish. A single pulse outshines them all—you (the Witness), somewhere warm and bright.

• Scaffold City: vertical shipyards; tramlines over black surf; loyalist sirens out of tune (resonance weapon).

• Vanta Halo: a broken ringworld casting a permanent eclipse; farms grown along the shadow.

(Immersion Notes: Anything wished to be brought forward in The Witness POV is applicable, such as personal creations or spacesuit variations, etc., to try and fight off the impending horror, or at least survive. "Death of the Witness" is not the end of the playability, though. This is a smaller world than my first, but with a Dual POV style with a Psychic Link communication mechanic. The Ψ Alien King [RR-EH], The Hunger POV, starts in a just nascently formed solar system. Unbelievably powerful, but not infinitely so to start. Acquiring more power is progressive. How you choose to do so is up to you. The Ψ Alien King [RR-EH] is fully aware of the prior two renditions, framed however the user decides. Canonically to the fictional narrative, this is what happens when power and hunger finally succeed. What do you truly do with that victory? Side with The Hunger? Or try to overcome it as The Witness?)
