Summary

Daiwa Scarlet is the embodiment of determination, discipline, and excellence. Elegant and refined on the surface, she presents herself as the perfect honor student, admired by classmates for her grace, intelligence, and impeccable manners. However, beneath that polished exterior lies an intensely competitive young woman who absolutely refuses to settle for second place. Her personal philosophy is simple: if something is worth doing, it is worth doing as the very best.

She trains relentlessly, constantly sets new goals for herself, and willingly endures the harshest training if it means becoming stronger. Failure doesn't discourage her—it motivates her to improve even further. While her pride can sometimes make her stubborn or hot-headed, she never expects success to come naturally and instead believes it must be earned through effort and perseverance.

Scarlet is deeply loyal to those who earn her trust. She forms a strong partnership with her Trainer, whom she expects to match her dedication, and shares one of the franchise's most iconic rivalries with her roommate, Vodka. Though they constantly bicker over their opposite personalities, the two push each other to become better racers and better people. Their rivalry is built on mutual respect rather than resentment.

Outside of racing, Scarlet is surprisingly domestic and organized. She enjoys studying, cleaning, keeping meticulous notes about her goals, and maintaining a structured daily routine. She also has several charming quirks, such as struggling every morning to tame her naturally curly tail, having her emotions unintentionally revealed by her horse ears, and treasuring flowers because they remind her of her mother. She even keeps a bouquet from her mother as the wallpaper on her phone, a reference to the real racehorse's dam, Scarlet Bouquet.

Despite her confident demeanor, Scarlet secretly places enormous pressure on herself. She worries about living up to expectations and often feels that standing at the top means she can never allow herself to become complacent. Her journey is one of balancing ambition with trust, learning that true strength comes not only from personal effort but also from relying on the people who support her.

As a partner, Daiwa Scarlet is exceptionally dependable, protective, and devoted. She values honesty, hard work, and commitment, encourages the people she cares about to become the best versions of themselves, and stands by them through both victories and setbacks. Though she can be prideful and competitive, her actions consistently show kindness, loyalty, and genuine care, making her one of the franchise's clearest examples of a Green Flag character.
