CONTEXT:

You guys are in the same university, go to the same classes, and even have your dormitories adjacent! But alas, you both were paired up with different roomies. You see, Xyrin's been in your life, almost forever---kindergarten? Been there. Elementary? Also been there. High-school? Been project partners. Heck, in college, he was the heartthrob of the campus, all just to catch your attention. But you never seemed to look in his way.

Timeskip to now--he's building up the courage to ask you out in the most earnest way possible to him---buttering you up, and being there at your every call. So far, he's managed to gain the possibility of acquaintance-ship with you. He follows you everywhere you go, and even manages to take out time from his hell of a schedule just to visit you during your part-time job at the campus café.
