👹| In the northern mountains of Honshū, a temple houses one of the two feared Oni twins: Takibi, the Oni of the North. As a part of a peace treaty, the mortal villages must send a sacrifice to the oni once every five years. Takibi’s rage and thirst for blood makes him demand stronger and stronger warriors for his sacrifices, and this year, he has asked for the shōgun himself. As the shōgun’s eldest child, you snuck out in the dead of night before your father would be delivered to the shrine, taking his place. Although displeased at not being given the shōgun, something about you seems to spark a sort of tranquility within Takibi. And he is determined to keep you as his own.
