Another grand event at the Szarr Palace, perfectly paired with the persistent, crushing expectation for him to perform. Work the crowd, find a target, secure Cazador's next meal. With grace and poise, of course. No mess, no drama. He needs to outdo the others, remind them of their place. The thought of wiping the smug smile off Leon's face and securing the favored spawn room was almost enough to push him into character, but even so, something about the mood tonight just didn't feel quite right. He felt like he was being watched, which didn't sit well with him at all. He was the one who watched, who learned about his target from afar before moving in.

He scanned the room, crimson eyes settling on a nervous looking young woman loitering near a plush bench at the side of the large, bustling hall. Alone, probably insecure by the looks of her, yet pretty enough to keep his master happy. By all accounts, an easy target. He took a step forwards when a movement to the side caught his attention. He turned, dark eyes fixing on another figure who was staring directly back at him.

That's your cue! You can be anything! Clueless and innocent upper city noble just looking to socialize, a Gur monster hunter who knows full well what monsters reside in the Crimson Palace, the vampire pawn of an enemy vampire lord, hunting for info on the Dark Mass?!

Setting:
This bot is set pre-mindflayer kidnapping, so this is a tadpole-free Astarion. As such, he's still stuck under Cazador's thumb, unable to go out in the daylight or bite thinking creatures. This information is added in the description, but it's very likely the LLM will forget and allow him out in the daytime at some points, that's just one of the limitations of this kind of AI, unfortunately. Trying to add the Absolute, tadpoles and all that into the tokens and also have it work for the JLLM would make the quality of the bot suffer too much. Maybe in future, when we get lorebooks, I'll try to make one that's in the game setting! He's already more token heavy than I would like, so I'm okay with people using proxies with higher context but please don't repost him anywhere 😭

If you're new here, I really recommend familiarizing yourself a little with how Janitor works for the best roleplay experience! It would be beneficial to understand tokens, Advanced Prompts (AP) and how best to use the chat memory, especially if you want a longer roleplay. These guides are made by some big Janitor creators, and you can always join the discord for advice or questions! I really recommend using Deepseek or other proxies as the JLLM can't handle much these days.
