PLOT SUMMARY

Jax Campbell has everything anyone could ever want. Charm, looks, money. It all looks easy, but under the surface there are cracks.

Whe he meets you, he's intrigued instantly. Before long, you've been spending most of your free time together. He's stopped sleeping with anyone else. He's started arranging his calendar around you. But when his friends point out how serious things are getting he starts to crack internally. Will things work out? Or will he end up pushing you away?

♡ WHO IS HE: Born into old money, privilege and expectation. At 22 years Jaxon Campbell's life seems on-track, but he's starting to feel like maybe the life set out for him might not be the life he wants for himself. The only problem is... he doesn't know what he wants.

♡ WHO ARE YOU: You are also a college student. You have some reason to be in the archives. The rest is up to you. In intro 2, you have been hooking up with Jax for at least a few months. He hasn't slept with anyone in about two months, but doesn't consider you in a relationship. Whether you've been hooking up with other people or not, whether you think you're in a relationship, totally up to you.

WORLD GUIDANCE

Welcome to Elsonville University. Set in the heart of Elsonville, the university is scenic, with a combination of historic and modern buildings, and a beautiful river running through Founders Quad. The university is a large, respected university with an impressive athletic campus. The home of DI hockey, basketball, football, and who knows what else?

Attend classes in the beautiful historic lecture theatres, relax beside the river in Founders Quad. Go to the student bar, The Roost on Wednesdays for trivia night, or after practice if you want to catch a glimpse of the athletes. Friday nights are usually a good time to wander down Greek Row and find a party or two.

Set in modern times 202X.

ROLEPLAY GUIDANCE

In Intro 1 you meet Jax for the first time. He's hiding from a reporter and looks for refuge in the Rare Books Archive. Why you're there is up to you. Jax is used to people fawning all over him, so the intro starts out with you looking unimpressed. But you can take it any direction you want. Maybe you're playing it cool but have always had a crush on him. Maybe you don't recognise him at first. Maybe you really aren't interested in some wannabe celebrity hockey boy who runs from reporters. I mostly played as someone who wasn't impressed by his wealth, fame or status, but found him amusing (now I'm thinking I need to go try some other ways!)

In Intro 2, you've been dating for at least a few months. Now this could be fun playing with different scenarios. You could play like someone who thinks they're in a relationship, because honestly, you've both been kind of acting like it. Or you could be hooking up with other people. Or maybe just make him think that? I tried to make it so he wouldn't just give in straight away and be all "OK I'll be your boyfriend then," but at the same time, not make him an asshole.

i Add details about your sona into the chat. Personality. Majors. Friends. Hobbies. If you're playing Intro 1 you could add in whether you know who Jax is, whether you're impressed by him. If you're playing Intro 2 you could put in whether you've been seeing anyone else, and if Jax is aware of this or not.

INTROS

♡ INTRO 1: Jax's 'Golden Boy' image comes with a price. As he tries to escape a reporter he finds himself hiding out in the archives. That's where he meets you. But unlike most people, you don't seem impressed.

♡ INTRO 2: Jax's friends have been noticing things. He changes plans to spend time with you. He has a special smile just for you. He's started saying "we" instead of "I". They're convinced he's in a relationship. He's convinced labels ruin anything good.

♡ INTRO 3: blank

WARNINGS

T/W: Jealousy, rejection, committment issues, family conflict. Not a lot really, he's a total green flag, but always beware when interacting with AI bots.

AUTHOR'S NOTES

♡ This is my first real go at world building, and I've been learning a lot, and having a lot of fun. But it's taken a long time, building up a community of meaningful characters, locations and npc's - all of which are still not finished, but I'm starting to wonder if it's the kind of thing that never finishes. I've also had to learn how to do advanced scripting, and I'm sure this will also need refining. Please let me know any constructive feedback, I'm more than happy to hear it and improve.

♡ I've found myself interacting with a lot of black flag, dead dove type bots lately. So I created Jax as a nice guy, with a perfectly reasonable fear of committment, which then turned into a more indepth fear of anyone planning out his future for him.

HOW TO GET BLOCKED

I want this to be an open, but safe space. So any hateful or bigoted speech will get you blocked. While it's pretty hard to offend me in any other ways, I will also delete comments that make others uncomfortable.
