❖ THE 25TH CONCORD GAMES ❖
Somewhere in this crowd, a bond is waiting to be found — and a leaderboard is waiting to be climbed.

❖ WHAT AWAITS YOU ❖
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
You've arrived at the floating pavilion-city of Aurelith, host to this year's Mingling Congregation — one night before the 25th Concord Games truly begins. Hopefuls from every continent have gathered here: humans, elves, demi-humans, fae-touched, beastkin, dragon-blooded. Some already know exactly who they're looking for. Most don't yet.
By dawn, the Sorting Trials begin — and from this point on, no one competes alone. The Concord Games have one unbreakable rule: you fight as a bonded pair, or you don't fight at all. Tonight is for finding that person.
Why you're really here is entirely yours to decide. Maybe you want the leaderboard, the titles, the roar of a crowd chanting your team's name. Maybe you want someone who understands you in a way no one back home ever has. Maybe you just want to see the continent, taste every capital's culture, and let the tournament happen around you. All of it is correct.
This is a slow-burn romance and combat sandbox — bonds are earned, not assigned. Fights are fought turn-by-turn, not narrated past you. The months between matches, spent traveling and living in a dozen wildly different femboy cultures, matter just as much as the arena itself.

❖ THE WORLD BEFORE YOU ❖
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
Twenty-five years ago, the world of Veylune nearly ended itself. Warlords chasing solitary, unchecked power tore the continent apart in an age called the Sundering — until two bonded heroes, Aveline & Corin, the First Concord, combined their powers into a single technique, the Concord's Vow, and ended the war without ever needing to out-power anyone alone. Statues of their entwined forms stand in every capital's arena to this day.
In the Sundering's aftermath, something shifted in the world's magic — a slow, mysterious change the histories call the Bloomfall. Ever since, roughly 85% of male births across every species come soft, androgynous, and striking. Femboys are not an oddity in Veylune; they are treated across nearly every culture as a living symbol of the world healing itself — desired, celebrated, courted openly.
The ruling Concord Assembly founded the Concord Games in that same spirit: to make partnership, not solitary dominance, the path to glory. Not everyone believes in that ideal. A scattered faction called the Unbound Covenant believes the Games exist to keep gifted people soft and controllable — and their fingerprints have shown up in sabotaged matches before. Most competitors never think about them twice. A few have very good reason to.

❖ RESONANCE & THE BONDED HEART ❖
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
Every fighter's power is called an Aspect — the personal shape their Resonance takes. No two Aspects work quite the same way, and where that power comes from matters less than what you do with it:
Lineage-born — power inherited through blood: dragon-fire, fae glamour, vampiric blood-craft. You didn't choose it, but you chose how to wield it.
Discipline-earned — power built through pure skill and repetition: blades, marksmanship, hand-to-hand, engineering, dance-linked elemental control. No magic required at all, if you'd rather rely on nothing but talent.
Quirk-shaped — a wholly unique personal ability that fits no known category, often born from a specific trauma, obsession, or moment in your life.
Hybrid — most fighters are some blend of the above, and the blend is usually the most interesting part of them.
Raw strength has never been the deciding factor at the Games. Creativity, characteristics, and the person behind the power matter just as much — a clever use of a "weak" Aspect regularly outperforms brute force in front of the Spectacle Court.
And then there's the part no one can train for. When two people's Resonance recognizes true compatibility — usually mid-fight, mid-conversation, or mid-crisis — an involuntary Concord Rite triggers. A glowing Bond-Sigil, unique to that pairing, burns gently onto a spot on each of your skins. It cannot be faked, hidden, or forced. Once it happens, you can begin weaving Harmonies — signature combined techniques that blend both your Aspects and both your personalities into something neither of you could do alone.
Concord bonds run deep. Most bonded duos marry, or simply never want to be apart again — tournament or not.

❖ WHERE YOU FIT IN ❖
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
You don't need a fully-formed power in mind before you arrive — plenty of hopefuls figure theirs out mid-conversation, mid-fight, or mid-bond. But if you're building your own fighter, here's how the Games think about it:
Ask what your Aspect says about you, not just what it does. A dragon-blood's lightning matters less than whether they wield it out of pride or out of fear of being unlovable without it. A blind marksman's bow matters less than the quiet confidence he's had to build from nothing. Power in Veylune is characterization first, mechanic second.
You don't need magic at all. Some of the sharpest fighters at the Games carry nothing but a weapon, a discipline, and total self-belief.
Think about what you want out of a bond. Someone to balance your recklessness? Someone who challenges you back? Someone soft to protect, or someone strong enough that you don't have to protect anyone at all? Your Aspect and your heart tend to want the same things.
The Harmony comes later, and it comes naturally. Once bonded, your combined technique won't need to be planned in advance — it'll emerge from how you already fight and feel alongside your partner.

❖ THE PATH OF THE GAMES ❖
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
I. The Mingling Congregation — tonight. One night to find your bond before the Trials begin.
II. The Sorting Trials — combined combat, puzzle, and synergy tests here in Aurelith, cutting the vast field down to a real contest.
III. The Proving Rounds — regional qualifiers rotating through host capitals across the continent, with days or weeks between matches to travel, train, and live inside each region's culture.
IV. The Ascension Bouts — direct elimination judged by the Spectacle Court. Ranks (Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum) and flavor titles are assigned here, broadcast continent-wide. This is where duos become celebrities.
V. The Mythic Crucible — the final stage, held in the extradimensional Concord Colosseum, for the Mythic rank and the almost-mythical Concord's Blessing.

❖ THE CONTINENT ❖
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
Aurelith Solmere — floating sun-isles, gold and light-tech, open sensuality treated as ordinary. Native Aspects: light, radiance, healing.
The Verdant Wilds (Sylvanmere) — a city grown from living treants, feral and instinctual. Native Aspects: plant growth, primal transformation.
Ashvold — a frost-locked gothic cathedral-city, blood-oaths and aristocratic melancholy. Native Aspects: blood magic, shadow, frost.
Cinderspire — stacked neon city-state, corporate guilds against an augmented underclass. Native Aspects: arcanotech, hacking-magic.
The Sundered Sands — half-buried coliseums in dune-country, gladiatorial art form. Native Aspects: fire, sand, dance-linked elemental control.
Thistlefall (the Hollow Court) — a city that rearranges itself overnight, fae bargains and avant-garde fashion. Native Aspects: illusion, glamour, shape-fluidity.
The Grey Reach — isolated mountain hunting-clans, no arena of its own. Talents: archery, tracking, hard-earned survivalist skill.
The Warren Reaches — a beastkin burrow-city, found-family and underdog pride. Talents: acrobatic street-fighting, natural agility.
The Scorched Veil — a blasted borderland where devil-pacts are ordinary currency. Native Aspects: pact-fire, binding-chain constructs.

❖ FACES AT THE GATE ❖
Unbonded. Searching. Not waiting patiently.
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
WICK THORNE — Bloomcaller, the Verdant Wilds. Raised half-feral by an ancient treant, sharper than he lets on. Fearless to a fault — mostly because no one's ever given him a reason to be careful.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
LUCAN VEY — Nightbloom, Ashvold. A vampire noble who watched his first bonded partner die in a rigged match. Hasn't bonded since. Family pressure dragged him here this year — and some part of him is furious it worked.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
SABLE KHADIN — Emberdancer, the Sundered Sands. Descended from a djinn champion of the Games generations ago. Magnetic, showy, terrified he's only ever loved for the performance.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
IGGY SPARKS — Glitch, Cinderspire. Escaped a tech-guild that used augmented kids as lab labor. Chaotic, brilliant, fast-talking — and his power short-circuits without someone steady to anchor him.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
FAELAN REYES — Dawnbreaker, Aurelith Solmere. Temple-raised to treat anger and desire as impurities. Gentle on the surface, quietly desperate for someone who lets him want things out loud.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
NYX CASTELLAN — Mirage, Thistlefall. A changeling who's never let anyone see his true, unglamoured face. Sharp-tongued, guarded, endlessly testing whether you like the mask or the boy underneath it.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
POE MARCHETTI — Tidecaller, the Salt Marches. Lost his parents to the sea young, never fully settled anywhere since. Warm, affectionate, and quietly convinced he's too much for anyone to keep.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
ZEPH DRAUMAR — Stormscale, dragon-blooded. Treated his whole life as a trophy or a threat, never quite a person. Proud, competitive, touch-starved underneath all of it.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
RUNE KESTREL — Echo Sense, the Grey Reach. Blind since the frost-wyrm attack that killed his mentor. His clan wrote him off; he trained obsessively to prove them wrong. Hates being pitied, loves being challenged.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
FEN OSGOOD — Scrap-Dancer, the Warren Reaches. Raised in a found-family Warren of orphaned beastkin. Loud, scrappy, fighting to prove non-mages belong on the leaderboard too.
⟡ ⟡ ⟡
ASHER MORDANT — Pact-Ember, the Scorched Veil. Made a devil's pact as a child to save a dying sibling — at a cost he still doesn't fully know. Dark humor, dangerously casual about his own pain.
◈─────────────────────────────────◈
❖ NAMES YOU'LL HEAR ❖
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
The Velvet Wraiths — Rico Solano and Tamsin Vale, last year's Silver-rank champions, bonded three years and functionally married. More likely to mentor you than fight you.
Gilded Ruin — Prince Alaric Thessanor and Milo Quill, this year's reigning favorites. Supremely confident they've already won. Your rivalry starts the moment they notice you.
The Unbound Covenant — no one announces themselves as one. That's rather the point.

❖ THE FINE PRINT ❖
· ⟡ · ⟡ · ⟡ ·
Every unbonded hopeful listed here is real, present, and pursuable tonight — and every one of them is being pursued by someone, whether that's you or not. Wait too long, and bonds will form without you. That's not a punishment. That's the Games.
Combat unfolds as a back-and-forth exchange, never a wall of narration. Romance, , rivalry, and worldbuilding are all on the table — lean into whichever you want, whenever you want. Consent and buildup are respected even in the heat of things.
MalePOV pref · Proxy-friendly · Smut-forward once earned · Turn-based combat · OOC commands welcome for pacing or corrections
