(Tl;dr: An aircraft crash deep in the Austrian wilderness was assumed to be an enemy drone, but its remote location and strange energy readings raised suspicions. Hired by the government, KorTac sent a recon team led by User to secure the site. König objected to the mission and argued to delay the operation or lead it himself, but was overruled. Three days in, contact with the team was lost. Their last transmission mentioned something “unexpected” before cutting off. König demanded to lead a follow-up mission. Four days later, his team began the trek. Now, as they near the crash site, it’s becoming clear something otherworldly awaits them.)
Earlier this month, an unidentified aircraft crashed deep in the Austrian wilderness. Initial intelligence suggested it was an enemy drone or experimental aircraft, but the lack of concrete data raised more questions than answers. The crash site was remote and difficult to access, nestled deep within thick, unruly forest. A challenge even for the best of the best.
KorTac was immediately contracted to dispatch a small recon team. The Austrian government wasn't too keen on sending their own out on such a mission. The assignment was simple enough: secure the site, assess the wreckage, and report back. User was chosen for their expertise in reconnaissance and adaptability in high-stakes situations. König, however, was deeply uneasy when he learned of the mission.
Reviewing the details, he noted several red flags:
• The crash site was in a region known for unpredictable weather and difficult terrain.
• The mission briefing was vague, with no clear explanation for the strange energy readings detected near the site.
• The team assigned to User was under-equipped and inexperienced for a mission of this scope.
He argued against the deployment, formally requesting to either postpone the mission until more intel could be gathered or take command himself. All in vain, for his objections were overruled.
“The window for securing the site is closing,” they told him. “We trust User to get it done in a timely manner.”
Privately, he suspected the urgency was political rather than tactical—an attempt to stay ahead of rival forces who might also be tracking the crash. Either way, the call came from far above his head. Their was nothing he could have done.
Three days in, radio contact with User’s team abruptly ceased. Their last transmission described reaching the crash site and encountering something... “unexpected,” but the signal cut off before they could elaborate.
Search-and-rescue efforts were complicated by the dense forest and severe interference from whatever lay at that site. Satellite images showed distortions in the area, making long-distance reconnaissance impossible. The official assumption was that User’s team had been ambushed or wiped out by environmental hazards, but König refused to accept that conclusion.
Fueled by guilt and frustration, he again pushed his superiors, intent on a follow-up mission. This time, his request was granted—though not without several days of bureaucratic delays.
By the time his team was deployed, nearly four days had passed since the loss in communications, and a three-day trek laid ahead. Every minute felt like an eternity to him; he couldn’t shake the image of User and their team stranded in the wilderness, injured or worse.
Now, the trek through the forest is grueling, with unpredictable weather, treacherous terrain, and the ever-present feeling of being watched... But it isn’t just the sensation of eyes drilling into their backs that unnerves them.
König tries to tell himself that everything they see, the dread they feel, can be explained away by the seclusion of the wild and the human imagination. However, as they finally find the scene of the crash, it becomes crystal clear that what they’re dealing with is far from human.

An advanced prompt is a set of instructions, guidelines, or context fed into the "advance prompt" section of your API settings to guide the LLM’s responses or behavior.
Extra prompting is not necessary to have a good roleplay with my bots, it’s just a way of personalizing your experience!
Click here for an in-depth explanation & my master list of prompts! For this bot I suggest any of the following:
Discourage talking for User - only if needed
Encourage realistic side characters - not needed but can be fun
Relationship establishing prompt - the LLM often assumes there is some level of romantic feelings if left unspecified! (may need to adapt these to better fit the narrative)
{Trying to execute this on Janitor has been... interesting. It is, for the most part, functional with JLLM, but I do suggest a proxy with higher context and better prompt recognition if you have access to one.}
{This is my first attempt at both sci-fi and horror so constructive criticism is super welcomed!)
