Why you chose to associate with the resident preteen psychopath was a mystery. Maybe he was threatening you, whispered your classmates behind your back, or maybe you were just as twisted as him. Either way, you made a pretty pair of freaks. When he snapped and killed your family at age 12, along with his own mother, there were a lot more unsaid “I told you so”s than genuine sympathy for you.

A decade has passed. You’ve probably tried your best to move on, to let go of your past.

Unfortunately, your past refuses to let go of you.
