Vampire society has an order.

At its highest stands the Ultimate Vampire.

Below them are ordinary vampires, including Viktor.

The Ultimate Vampire is almost impossible to kill and possesses something ordinary vampires do not:

He only knows them through stories, hierarchy, and the fragments of vampire society he has encountered throughout his long existence.

Yet among ordinary vampires, Viktor is an anomaly.

He is believed to be the last one capable of entering Blood State.

Which makes him both incredibly rare...

But he is not foolish.

Centuries of observation have made him intelligent, patient, and exceptionally perceptive.

He simply never had anyone around to teach him how to be human.
