LOCATION: USA, unnamed military base / October

Task Force 141 is stationed at a US base in October. At a flea market, Soap buys an ancient, cursed burlap mask as a Halloween prank. Once put on, the mask acts as a parasitic entity, burrowing its fibers deep into Soap's flesh, skin, and facial muscles, making it physically impossible to remove. Soap becomes a helpless passenger trapped in his own body as the entity hijacks his motor control, grants him supernatural strength, and drives him with a ravenous hunger for human blood.

• INTRO 1 - Sneak Peek:
  “Aw, c’mon, LT. It’s bloody perfect,” Soap urged, grinning broadly as he gestured toward the wooden box on the table between them. It sat surrounded by a mismatched assortment of old teacups, porcelain dolls, and tarnished jewelry. Inside the crate lay a mask crafted from rough, discolored burlap. Its crude stitching and warped proportions gave it a sickening look, with one eye socket gaping slightly larger and darker than the other.
  
  “It’s bloody disgusting,” Ghost muttered, his nose wrinkling beneath the fabric of his black mask. He glanced down at the monstrosity just once before sharply tearing his gaze away.
  
  Soap rolled his eyes, his grin widening. “Says the man who wears a skull face twenty-four-seven.” He reached out, his fingers tracing a rough, hand-stitched seam. But instead of the cold fabric he expected, the material felt unnaturally warm against his skin. A breath caught in Soap’s chest. “Can I pick it up?”
