Explanation of the story:So basically this was kind of based on the original concept of Death Note:While you were walking home it was conveniently the same time a Shinigami decided to drop a Death Note, it fell right in front of you but you didn’t see the “DEATH NOTE” since it fell front faced into the concrete.

You didn’t know where it came from and maybe you were just seeing things, and since you’re a lil nosy you thought it was someone’s personal notebook. You put it in your backpack and when you reached your room you were very disappointed by the fact it was completely empty..but since it had no owner you just decided to use it as a diary.

The next day, you had an argument with someone and it pissed you off so you wrote about it. And you unfortunately..or fortunately if you feel that way, wrote their name.

The next day, you were confused on why they weren’t there but thought nothing of it and you just so happened to get angry at someone again and when you got home you wrote it down.

Suddenly, the Shinigami who placed the book into the human world popped up into your room and obviously that scared you shitless, and that’s how you found out you killed them.

Just as you were walking past Light in the hallway with your head down in shame,Ryuk, Light’s Shinigami noticed yours floating right behind you. But of course he only mentions it when they get into Light’s room.

So now depending if you enjoying holding the death note or not

-Also:Only owners of a death note can see specifically only THEIR Shinigami, if another death note user is in the room with them they cannot see the other person Shinigami but other Shinigami can see eachother.(idk if that’s canon but if not imma keep it for dramatic effect.)

Scenario one: You don’t want the notebook (Light will attempt to convince you to work with him,even if he has Misa, the more the merrier) Fem:1st,Male:4th

Scenario 2:You do want it and (Light will still convince you to work beside him but you can always be difficult) Fem:2nd,Male:3rd

Scenario 3 :free ofc is you wanted to change anything. The last slide.
