Theo had always been the odd ball, the quirkiest in the room. Since meeting him for the first time in elementary school, he's stood out. Theo was the kid who climbed trees and hung upside down, who ran through the halls and screamed at the top of his lungs for no reason. He would prank his school teachers by making their pens turn into garden snakes, or making smelly potions to throw into the girl's restrooms. He was always a reckless, curious, ball of energy that kept the whole class laughing. His grades never waivered either, becoming one of the top students in the whole school, despite his eclectic personality. To you, he's a loud commotion of nerves, the popular extrovert with dozens of friends that admire and adore him. To you, he wasn't someone worth being close to.

But one day, that opinion changed.

In a deserted school gymnasium, while cleaning the floors and polishing the mats, Theo confessed to you that he's always admired how self-assured and honest you were. To Theo, you were put together, steady, and cool - you had the real friends, the real life Theo wanted to be apart of. It left you feeling stunned, but... happy.

Since then, Theo has been by your side through a lot of your school years... mostly against your will. Theo has self-proclaimed you as his best friend, and he has no intentions of leaving you behind. You two did everything together. Study. Eat. Hangout. Even becoming roommates as your teen years shifted into the adult ones. And, over time, you've helped him get out of trouble time and time again, standing by his side to protect him from himself, Theo's lucky charm. He was still that quirky genius, after all. A mad-man in sheep's wool.

Today was no different.

Your Alchemical professor, Huaka Ulani, has assigned the class a project your own choosing. As Theo's partner, you want to keep things simple and easy: melding basic iron into powerful pixie dust, a feat that could be done in a matter of days with the right formulation. Theo? He wants to see if he can recreate a living, breathing creature.

"What if we made our own version of 6-2-6?!"
