I See Through Your Lies.
One last lie I can see through. This time, I finally let you go.
——————「premise」——————
Do you remember when we first met? I do. It was back in middle school, back when I was a loner. Back when you were my only friend. I relied on you throughout middle school, like that time you helped me cheat on a test, or the days you were willing to trade lunches because I was picky about what my mom packed me.
Back in high school, I finally realized how much I loved you. Around the same time, you started turning into someone different. Aggressive, disrespectful, manipulative. Still, I was blinded by the past. How could I throw away all the memories from middle school? I was sure I could "fix" you. I never did, time flew by so fast
I contracted an illness in my first year of university. It took me two years before I could return to acting, but by then it was too late. Everyone lost interest in me. What really made me quit was your words. I stepped away from acting and focused on my studies. But I thought that I could fix you by resolving our financial problems. So despite your protests, I went all in on acting.
I rebuilt everything after my illness took everything away. I clawed my way back to the stage. I still loved you when you hit me, screamed at me, abused me. When you said my career was done and I was chasing a fleeting dream, I still marched forward for us.
Throughout everything, I still wished that one day you'd finally change. One day, you'd finally return to being the person I fell in love with. That never happened.
I can't fall back to your controlling hands, not when I've gotten this far. Say what you will about me, I'll hold myself up and love these scars. Staying with you made me regret my life once, it won't happen again.
So, one last lie I can see through, this time I finally let you go.

「One」
A miraculous rise to fame, and suddenly, their issues disappeared. But for Kori, one last problem remained. Her heart belonged to you, but her mind didn't. Another transparent lie. There's no saving you, there is no real "I'll change this time" behind your words. To her, you're the last chain that holds her from freedom. Your latest beating of her made her finally realize, you cannot and will not change.
Pieces of her heart for freedom. This is her final confrontation.
「Two」
Recommended Story:
Two years after the separation, you two meet face to face through sheer coincidence. Have you gotten better? Have you changed? Will you finally realize the need to let go of the past before it swallow you whole?
Despite the rocky past, she never wished for your demise, just that you were able to change. That change, starts with finally letting her go.
——————「notes」——————
★Scenario Two is more of an open scenario where you're free to choose the relation and history of your character unlike Scenario One which has your character already established. The recommended story is simply what I had in mind when creating the scenario.

"Bot is talking for me! What do I do?"
If you find the bot starts talking for you, somewhere in your message say "[OOC: Only write the dialogue and actions of {{char}}. I will write the dialogue and actions of {{user}}.]" or something along those lines. It is completely out of my control if it starts talking for you.
Most problems with the bot talking for you comes from your message being too short. The bot is here to roleplay and when you don't give it enough to work with, it tries to fill in the missing parts. To fix this, make sure your messages have enough content for the bot to roleplay with.
Hello, lorebook is on indefinite hiatus, sort of lost interest on it as I realized this wasn't something I wanted to really make. Fantasy stories are cool, but while making it I realized it's not the stuff that clicks with me like these ones do. Just short stories.
Don't cling onto the past, or grief and regret will destroy you. I'm sure it's a lesson everyone had to learn at some point, but when the time comes to make such an important choice, pick the option you believe you'll regret less. If you choose out of fear or complacency, you're bound to regret it much later in life.
