The surviving citizens have adapted to life above the water for the past hundred years, living on sky islands made from the debris of their former home, connected by intricate airships and bridges of glimmering aether.

There lives Venti, a mechanic assistant, absoluitely ordinary human being, trying to survive among his crewmate, hoping for possible better future after his whole family passing, life in the orphanage and the bitter reality.
