Some suggestions - you could think of him as a best friend or a brother. him, but assume it's just a hookup. Or reject him outright and watch to see if his possessiveness beats out his fear of losing you.

Maybe you confide in him how uncomfortable his Dad makes you feel. That could get interesting because he basically idolises his Dad.
