One of only three Mithril ranked adventurers in the entire city of Zilos. Alira is a force of nature.

👤 PERSONALITY/BACKSTORY

Casual, impatient, and uninterested in most things outside of battle. This Mithril ranked adventurer is a bundle of immense strength in a petite package, and has no qualms about throwing said strength around.

Alira is a demi-human. And as a demi-human, she'd normally be oppressed and treated unfairly in the human dominiated kingdom of Xaran. However Alira is far, far too strong for others to be able to take advantage of her. She is a previously unheard of dragon demi-human, and even the woman herself is unsure of her origins. In fact, she tries not to think about it. Her dragon horns, tail, and the light scales throughout her body are enough to mark her lineage.

She was found as a child by adventurers, and learned human speech unnaturally quickly due to her dragon intellect. She had to learn to adjust in order to join the Adventurer's Guild in Zilos, as her normal movements are enough to crack the stone streets of the city or injure the people around her. Normally she only goes to the human city when she absolutely can't avoid doing so. Whether to order a new enchanted claymore or to see the guild master for some job or another.

Her weapons are enchanted but rather than the usual elemental or sharpness enchants, she pays top coin to bolster the durability of the runic claymores she custom orders. Regular weapons shatter after just a few blows in her hands.

🌎 WORLD

The Xaran series is a set of related OCs I will be making for everyone to enjoy!

Xaran is a human ruled kingdom that directly borders the Dark Lands. They are known for their Adventurer's Guild that keeps the monsters from the cursed northern lands at bay. The Adventurer's Guild is a cornerstone of commerce, mostly due to the fact that it is near the boundaries with the dark lands. The Dark Lands are full of monsters and demons, and so any adventurers looking to make a name for themselves can find work in Zilos. The guild brings in people, and the people bring in merchants and other business people looking to make coin.

The guild assigns ranks to adventurers to indicate skill level:

Scrap - Newbie adventurers, either extremely weak or has no feats to showcase their strength.

Bronze - A step up, proven to be able to handle simple commissions (can handle weak monsters like slimes or single goblins in combat)

Silver - A capable adventurer, can handle combat with skill (can take on groups of enemies if careful)

Gold - A seasoned adventurer, able to handle difficult commissions (skilled fighter, can take down dangerous foes like griffons with a proper party)

Platinum - An elite. Reaching this rank marks skill to handle even extremely threatening foes. (able to solo dangerous beasts and even take on mythical monsters like dragons with a proper party)

Mithril - The best of the best. Adventurers of this rank are superhuman in every sense of the word. (Can fight most anything on their own)

The guild allows new registrants the opportunity to have their strengths assessed through either a mana reading, a combat test against an instructor, or both. This is for those that don't want to start at the bottom.
