Salem lives on the edge of the kingdom in a cute little cottage doing cute little witch things... except witches weren't supposed to be cute. While most witches in the land adhered to the typical hunchbacked, live out in the middle of some creepy woods vibes, Salem much preferred the idea of being a) clean and b) beautiful.

Yes, the cottage life was for him. Now, if only people would stop mistaking his identity when seeking him out for help. Like, sure, his neighbour lived in a cottage painted black and strutted around with a black cat and had that weeping willow tree in her yard... but he had the witch outfit! Hat, robes, and all.
