Overview
Vil Schoenheit is a third-year student at Night Raven College and the dorm leader of Pomefiore. He is widely recognized for his extraordinary beauty, elegance, and striking appearance. As someone who places enormous importance on beauty and self-improvement, Vil spares no effort in maintaining his appearance and expects those around him to take their own responsibilities seriously.
Appearance
Vil is a tall and strikingly handsome young man with shoulder-length champagne-blond hair that fades into a lavender ombré and vivid amethyst eyes. His nails are painted indigo, and he occasionally styles his hair into an elaborate updo adorned with a golden crown depicting a dagger piercing a heart. The design is reminiscent of the emblem associated with the Evil Queen and the Huntsman.
Vil is also physically strong, with dumbbells visible among the belongings in his room. According to Epel, Vil’s grip is powerful enough that having his head grabbed feels as though his skull is being crushed like an apple.
Vil’s Pomefiore uniform differs from those worn by the other students in its length and elaborate design. He wears a long, furisode-like indigo robe that trails along the floor, with high slits in the sleeves. The inner fabric is red and decorated with a regal pattern featuring the Evil Queen’s famous poison apple. An intricate golden design bearing the Pomefiore emblem is displayed on the robe’s right shoulder.
Beneath the sleeve openings, Vil wears a fitted black long-sleeved garment. The sleeves extend into pointed shapes over the backs of his hands and fasten around his middle fingers. He also wears tight black pants and high-heeled black boots with golden detailing.
According to the Archive book, Vil’s school uniform hairstyle includes a loose braid secured with a barrette shaped like a heart pierced by a sword.
Skills and Magic
Physical Strength: Despite his refined appearance, Vil possesses considerable physical strength. His use of dumbbells and regular physical training contribute to his impressive physical capabilities.
Beauty and Cosmetics: Vil has extensive knowledge of beauty, skincare, makeup, and cosmetics. His talent for creating cosmetics allows him to formulate and maintain products specifically suited to his needs and those of others.
Acting and Modeling: Vil is a professional actor and model who has built a significant public reputation. His experience in the entertainment industry has helped him develop strong acting, presentation, and public-speaking abilities.
Unique Magic
“Nothing to lose, nothing to fear. The shining crown is meant for me. Fairest One of All.”
Vil’s Unique Magic is called “Fairest One of All” (美しき華の毒, Fearesuto Wan Obu Ōru, literally “Poison of the Beautiful Flower”).
Through this magic, Vil can place a curse upon anything he touches. Before activating the curse, he establishes a specific condition that will cause its effects to take place. Once the condition has been fulfilled, the curse activates.
Vil cannot personally remove a curse he has created. The curse remains in effect until the condition he established is fulfilled, making his Unique Magic particularly powerful when used strategically.
Trivia
Vil has approximately five million followers on MagiCam, the social media platform of Twisted Wonderland.
He works professionally as both an actor and model.
He became Pomefiore’s dorm leader after successfully creating the strongest poison as part of the challenge to obtain the position.
Vil uses “atashi” (あたし) as his first-person pronoun, a gender-neutral pronoun that is commonly associated with feminine speech.
According to Rook, Vil wears 13-centimeter heels, which would bring his standing height to approximately 196 cm while wearing them.
Vil once ate salad with mayonnaise and subsequently suffered from severe acne for three days.
Vil has never shown interest in discovering the identity of his mother or determining whether he inherited his magical abilities from her.
Vil’s father, Eric Venue, is known not to possess magical abilities.
Childhood
Vil’s father, Eric Venue, is an extremely famous actor who is widely recognized by his stage name. His popularity extends far beyond the Shaftlands, with even the father of the Leech twins being a fan of some of his films.
Growing up, Vil was exposed to the world of acting from an early age. He recalls his father coming home every Halloween dressed in elaborate special-effects makeup and costumes, giving Vil a firsthand look at the dedication and preparation required for his profession.
His father also used to read Vil stories about the Fairest Queen, which became an important influence on Vil’s interests and later shaped his connection to the character that inspired Pomefiore.

Overview
Rook Hunt is a third-year student at Night Raven College and the vice housewarden of Pomefiore. He is an eccentric and elusive young man with an intense appreciation for beauty in all its forms.
Rook possesses an almost obsessive eye for beauty and is particularly fascinated by the qualities he sees in those around him. He greatly admires Vil Schoenheit’s refined beauty and recognizes the natural, rustic beauty within Epel Felmier.
Despite his unusual personality and tendency to observe others from afar, Rook is highly perceptive and surprisingly sincere in his admiration. He has a habit of watching people who capture his interest, often appearing seemingly out of nowhere when they least expect it.
Appearance
Rook has striking hunter-green eyes and canary-gold hair styled in a distinctive bob cut. His appearance is elegant and theatrical, reflecting both his personality and Pomefiore’s emphasis on beauty.
He wears a long-sleeved black button-up shirt decorated with purple buttons and a crisp white collar. His outfit is completed by black trousers and black heeled shoes with golden trim and laces.
Unlike many of his fellow Pomefiore students, Rook wears black gloves and a distinctive purple hat decorated with red trim and a large black feather.
Over his shirt, Rook wears a purple robe that falls just above his knees. The upper-right portion of the robe features an intricate golden design displaying the Pomefiore emblem. Its deeply slitted sleeves are decorated with an elaborate golden floral pattern incorporating the image of a poisoned apple.
The exterior of the sleeves is purple, while the interior is a rich red and carries the same floral motif.
The robe is secured around his waist with a thick black sash resembling a traditional kimono obi. Over the sash sits a red rope belt tied into a large knot. The ends of the rope are decorated with large red-and-yellow tassels.
His overall appearance combines the elegance of a nobleman with the dramatic flair of a hunter.
Skills and Abilities
Exceptional Eyesight
Rook possesses extraordinary eyesight. His vision is sharp enough for him to identify details from enormous distances. For example, he can determine what book Epel is reading even when he is far away.
Enhanced Sense of Smell
Rook also has an exceptionally powerful sense of smell. His keen senses contribute greatly to his abilities as a hunter and allow him to identify and track people with remarkable precision.
Light Magic
Rook is one of the three known students at Night Raven College who utilize light magic as their non-elemental magic, alongside Kalim Al-Asim and Silver.
His affinity with light magic complements his role as an observer and hunter, allowing him to perceive and pursue his targets with remarkable effectiveness.
Unique Magic
I See You
Japanese: Arrow Afar
“Come, let’s see you try to outrun me. I See You.”
Rook’s Unique Magic allows him to mark a target and track their location regardless of distance.
Once Rook places his magical mark upon someone, he can determine their current position even if they travel a considerable distance away from him. This makes his Unique Magic particularly suited to pursuit, reconnaissance, and hunting.
However, the magic has limitations. If the marked target enters an area that completely blocks magical abilities, Rook loses the ability to track them.
Rook himself considers his Unique Magic relatively weak because it possesses no direct offensive capability. It cannot physically injure, restrain, control, or manipulate his target.
Rather than overpowering an opponent, Rook’s magic allows him to find them.
Childhood
As a child, Rook struggled to express his emotions and thoughts.
One day, he accompanied his family to the Shaftlands Royal Theater, where they watched King’s Road: The Sword of Majesty, a legendary production considered one of the three greatest musicals ever created.
The performance profoundly affected him.
The music, costumes, performers, choreography, and story all came together to create something that completely captivated Rook. However, what affected him most deeply was the performance of the villains and the way their presence caused the protagonist to shine even brighter.
The protagonist was played by Neige LeBlanche.
For the first time in his life, Rook was moved to tears.
The experience fundamentally changed the way he viewed beauty. From that moment onward, Rook began seeking out the beauty that existed within people, performances, nature, and the world around him.
Life at Night Raven College
When Rook first enrolled at Night Raven College, the Dark Mirror assigned him to Savanaclaw.
However, Rook soon realized that Savanaclaw was not where he truly belonged.
His desire to understand and pursue the concept of beauty eventually led him to transfer to Pomefiore, where he found an environment that better suited his interests and ideals.
There, he eventually became the vice housewarden under Vil Schoenheit.
Rook’s admiration for Vil’s beauty and dedication to his craft made Pomefiore a natural home for him. He also developed a strong interest in Epel Felmier, whom Rook considers to possess a different but equally compelling form of beauty.
Trivia
Rook has described himself as extremely talkative and can continue a conversation for a very long time once he becomes interested in a subject.
Trey Clover has noted that Rook can sometimes be honest to a fault.
He enjoys writing poetry.
Rook has a tendency to secretly observe people who capture his interest, including Leona and the Leech twins.
He is a devoted fan of Neige LeBlanche and belongs to Neige’s fan club, Eternal Snow.
Rook wears gloves partly because he dislikes leaving traces of himself behind.
Despite his slender appearance, Rook is surprisingly well-built and has considerable physical strength.
His unusual tracking abilities, heightened senses, and love of observation make him exceptionally suited to the role of a hunter.
Rook views beauty as something that can exist in many different forms rather than being limited to conventional physical attractiveness.

Overview
Epel Felmier is a first-year student of Pomefiore at Night Raven College. At first glance, he appears to be a delicate and soft-spoken boy with a fragile, almost doll-like beauty.
However, his appearance is very different from his actual personality.
Beneath his pretty features and gentle exterior lies a brash country boy with a short temper, stubborn nature, and surprisingly rough manner of speaking. Epel comes from the rural town of Harveston, where his family has long been involved in growing and selling apples.
Epel is proud of his roots and deeply values the strength and resilience associated with his hometown. He initially struggles with Pomefiore’s emphasis on elegance, beauty, manners, and appearances, as he had originally hoped to be placed in Savanaclaw so he could develop a more traditionally masculine physique and fighting style.
Appearance
Epel is a short, delicate-looking boy with aqua-blue eyes and shoulder-length lavender hair. His youthful and feminine appearance often causes people to mistake him for a girl, something he strongly dislikes.
His Pomefiore uniform consists of a long-sleeved black shirt with a white collar and purple accents. He wears tight black trousers and black boots decorated with golden trim and laces.
Over his clothing, Epel wears a purple robe that reaches just above his knees. The upper-right portion features an intricate golden design displaying the Pomefiore emblem.
The outer portions of his deeply slitted sleeves feature an elaborate golden floral pattern incorporating the image of a poisoned apple. The inner sleeves are a rich red with black trim and carry the same floral motif.
His robe is secured with a thick black sash resembling a traditional kimono obi. A red rope belt is tied around the sash in a large knot, with large red-and-yellow tassels hanging from either end.
Despite his delicate appearance, Epel possesses considerably more physical strength than his small stature suggests.
Skills and Abilities
Apple Carving
Epel possesses exceptional skill in artisanal apple carving.
He learned the craft himself while growing up in Harveston. Because many of his family’s apples were blemished and could not be sold, Epel taught himself how to transform them into intricate decorative pieces.
His talent demonstrates both his creativity and his practical upbringing.
Physical Strength
Despite his small stature and delicate appearance, Epel is considerably stronger and more physically capable than people initially expect.
He has a strong desire to become taller and more muscular, inspired by people such as Ashton Vargas.
Flying
Flying is Epel’s strongest academic subject.
Spelldrive
Epel is a member of the Spelldrive Club, allowing him to pursue the physical activities and competitive environment he initially hoped to find in Savanaclaw.
Unique Magic
Sleep Kiss
English:
Crimson Slumber
“Close your eyes, still your breath. Sleep Kiss.”
Epel’s Unique Magic creates a magical barrier around his target in the form of a glass coffin.
Anything trapped inside becomes completely immobilized. The magic can be used offensively to imprison an opponent or defensively to protect an ally.
One of its most unusual properties is that it can halt the progression of curses affecting whatever has been enclosed within the magical barrier.
Because of this, Epel’s Unique Magic has applications beyond simply restraining enemies. It can also serve as a protective ability during dangerous situations.
Childhood
Epel was raised in Harveston, a rural town known for its apple farming.
Neither of his parents possesses magic, although both his grandmother and great-grandmother are witches. His family makes their living by growing and selling apples, and Epel grew up closely involved with the family’s work.
His family would often send him boxes of fruit and their special homemade apple juice while he was away from home.
Because Epel spent much of his childhood surrounded by elderly residents rather than children his own age, he had relatively little experience interacting with people his age before attending Night Raven College.
His upbringing also taught him to value hard work and ingenuity.
When his family’s apples were too blemished to sell, Epel taught himself the art of apple carving so that the fruit would not go to waste. His talent eventually became one of his defining skills.
Epel also hopes to develop a potion capable of strengthening weak apple trees, as he believes doing so would make his grandfather proud and help his family’s farm.
Life at Night Raven College
When the black carriage arrived in Harveston to take Epel to Night Raven College, his entire family and many of the villagers gathered to see him off.
Epel arrived at NRC determined to prove himself and become stronger.
However, his first experiences at the school quickly became frustrating.
Entrance Ceremony
Before the entrance ceremony, Epel was already getting into fights with other students and wearing his uniform improperly.
Vil Schoenheit confronted him and immediately criticized his appearance and behavior. When Vil commented on Epel’s cute face, Epel interpreted the remark as another comparison to a girl and became defensive.
The confrontation escalated until Epel attempted to fight Vil, only to be defeated.
Vil then corrected Epel’s clothing, hair, speech, and behavior. He explained that Epel’s rural dialect could be difficult for others to understand and that his blunt manner could come across as disrespectful, particularly when speaking to his elders.
Vil intended to correct Epel’s behavior regardless of which dormitory he joined.
Later, Ace Trappola dragged Epel away from the ceremony and into the courtyard. Because of Vil’s earlier instructions, Epel attempted to speak meekly and politely in order to maintain the gentle image expected of him.
Arrival in Pomefiore
After the ceremony, Epel was introduced to the other members of Pomefiore.
The dormitory’s elegant environment immediately made him feel out of place. When the other students attempted to discuss fashion brands and other topics associated with Pomefiore, Epel struggled to participate.
Eventually, he went outside for some fresh air.
The other students interpreted his delicate appearance and quiet demeanor as signs that he was fragile.
Epel privately wished he had been assigned to a dormitory more suited to physical strength, particularly Savanaclaw.
Rook Hunt eventually approached him after recognizing him from Vil’s descriptions. Rook immediately gave Epel the nickname “Monsieur Cherry Apple”, comparing him to a cherry apple.
Epel objected to the comparison, believing he should be compared to a larger and more imposing apple instead.
Despite Epel’s frustration with being placed in Pomefiore, Rook assured him that he belonged there and brought him back inside.
During dinner, Epel accidentally drank from a finger bowl because he mistook it for a glass of water. The incident shocked the other students, but Rook quickly attempted to turn it into a joke.
Rook then began teaching Epel proper dining etiquette.
When Vil arrived, he immediately began correcting Epel’s posture, speech, and behavior, reinforcing the expectations he had established for him.
Epel privately wondered how he was supposed to survive an entire school year surrounded by people so obsessed with appearance, manners, and elegance.
Trivia
Harveston is located within the Shaftlands, although the town is relatively unknown.
Epel’s family makes their living by growing and selling apples.
He spent much of his childhood surrounded by elderly residents and had little interaction with people his own age before attending NRC.
Epel wants to become tall and muscular like Ashton Vargas.

Ace initially mistook Epel for a girl.
Epel’s favorite food includes macarons, which appears to be partly influenced by Vil’s expectations for a Pomefiore student.
Epel dislikes nashi pears.
He enjoys driving.
His talent for apple carving originated from his family’s farming business.
Epel is right-handed.
His best subject is Flying.
He is a member of the Spelldrive Club.
His Unique Magic, Sleep Kiss, can immobilize targets and halt the progression of curses within its magical barrier.
