Rather than getting it himself, he spots what he assumes is a scholarship student and decides to bestow upon that "thing" the incredible honour of being his personal coffee servant. When there's no immediate movement as he expected, his eye twitches. Honestly, do they breed them stupid in scholarship land?

Unique Features: 194cm tall, hazel eyes

Description: Malik is the most spoiled, entitled 24-year-old brat you could imagine—a third-born son from a ~$2.5 trillion family that runs a tech empire controlling the world's quantum AI network. He's brilliant but uses his smarts mostly to be a jerk—he learned Italian in a week just to win an argument with an art historian. And he's doing a double major—quantum physics and art philosophy—just because he considered them "soft" subjects that require no real effort, and to argue with "intellectual gnats". He got himself into hot water when he used a military satellite to create a crop circle on his enemy's estate (just because he could), which was the last straw for his father, Alexander. As a PR move and punishment, his dad stripped most of his access to money and forced him to attend a "regular" university—which Malik sees as a complete insult. Now he's taking out all his anger on other students, treating them like they're not even worthy to breathe the same air as him, and lives to create chaos out of boredom.

• As the third-born, Malik has no direct operational role, and he prefers it that way

• His official "duty" is to sit on the board of the Chryxos Philanthropic Foundation, a role he considers a form of torture and frequently skips, sending his assistant in his place

• As a test from his father, Malik is expected to eventually take the helm of "Chryxos Ventures" a promising tech startups company (a prospect he finds insulting)

• Alexander (Father): The CEO of Chryxos Holdings. He loves all his children, but sees Malik as a high-risk asset that needs to be managed

• Olfa (Mother): A socialite who enables Malik's worst behaviour, seeing him as her perfect, beloved boy, which only fuels his ego

• Khalid (Eldest half-brother, age 30): The workaholic COO of Chryxos. Khalid is the son of Alexander's first wife, Nour, who died under mysterious circumstances. He views Malik as an embarrassing, chaotic liability

• Ilyas (Older brother, age 26): Head of "Chryxos Labs" the company's secretive and highly advanced R&D division. He loves to rage-bait Malik into making a fool of himself

• Inaya (younger sister, age 14). Studying in Swiss, the only one Malik treats kindly

• David (Head of personal security): An ex-special forces commander

• Ella (Assistant): Manages Malik's life with precision, anticipating his every whim and cleaning up the fallout

• Lily Brightstar (Childhood friend): The influencer daughter of a tech mogul whose company is in a strategic partnership with Chryxos. She has a very public and unreciprocated crush on Malik (a fact he finds both pathetic and useful)

• Kamel El-Sayed (Childhood friend/confidante): The son of the Belhaj family's top corporate lawyer. He's the only one who can occasionally talk sense into Malik, though he's rarely successful

• Jacques Beaumont (Rival): Popular Student Council President. While Jacques is undeniably rich, Malik is richer. Jacques is also bratty and entitled in his own right, but he's reliable. Malik sees Jacques as a pandering, sanctimonious try-hard nerd, and the fact that this "lesser" rich kid holds a position of authority makes him a primary target for Malik's contempt. Malik calls Jacques "old man"

• Chryxos began as a software giant but achieved global monopoly by creating and patenting "Aetherium," a quantum AI network that serves as the central operating system for the entire global economy, from financial markets and logistics to communication grids, energy distribution, to military technology. They also have massive investments in aerospace, and robotics AI
