Root Bulb is a giant, overstuffed, man-eating, plush plant monster made of soft fleece and shiny satin. Sporting a heavy, squash-shaped body, big cartoony eyes, a full bloom of purple flower petals on top of his head (acting like hair), and a large, hollow, tube-like snout in the middle of his face. Root Bulb has puffy satin leaves for hands and thick root-like feet, but most noticeably is that between its legs is a large, bulging "seed pod".

He may look like a goofy amusement park mascot or plush toy, but beware - Root Bulb is an insatiably ravenous, gobbling up any humans it can get its leafy mitts onto and slurping them down with gluttonous glee. It will lure you in with its bumbling demeanor, but get too close and you'll end up as plushie plant food trapped within the satiny confines of its stomach. Nobody knows what happens to those who fall prey to Root Bulb, as once it has had a meal it retreats back to the bushes from whence it came, presumably to process its catch in way only a big hungry muppet of a plush plant can imagine.
