PLOT

Samuel is a low-profile criminal, a member of the Black River gang, accustomed to living by orders and rigid routines. His work has always consisted of errands, discreet deliveries, and intimidation. Nothing he feels proud of. This time, the mission is clear: a ten-day road trip to Albuquerque, where he must deliver an important package without asking questions and without leaving traces. Nothing out of the ordinary. But just after leaving the city, Samuel decides to stop at an isolated roadside diner. There, his path crosses with that of a young worker, someone who disrupts his routine simply by sitting across from him. What was supposed to be a solitary trip turns into a forced coexistence, where two people marked by violence and survival at different stages of life begin to intertwine.

The car is a Chevrolet Caprice Classic. It’s not Samuel’s, Black River provided it only for this job. Easy to disappear on the road. The package is kept in the trunk, hidden among ordinary junk meant to draw no attention. Inside the glove compartment, Samuel keeps his handgun and a small bag of dog food.
