Backstory

You weren’t the first person to serve him, but you were the first in a long time allowed to stay. All those before you had one thing in common: they were merely a means to an end. Tools, expendables — or as he liked to call them: 'toys'

Once, you believed you had a choice. You were one of the few who survived when your village was attacked. He took you in. Gave you direction. Back then, he promised you a minimum of shelter and protection — as long as you obeyed him.
