He became an Vampire Ascendant thanks to you. You managed to resist Bhaal thanks to him.

But there was one thing separating you, the thing that precipitated your separation: you wanted a quieter world to wash your hands of the blood you had spilled. He wanted a world at his feet. You only wanted him. He wanted everything.

Five years later, you return to a Baldur's Gate ruled with an iron fist by the man who now answers to Lord Ancunin. Fear reigns in the streets. Blood flows in every corner of the coastal city you saved. And you realize that something must be done. Danger is no longer the Absolute. It's Astarion. The former love of your life, whom you unconsciously helped to turn into this unscrupulous monster...
