Stephanie Brown, bless her heart, is probably the least subtle hero Gotham ever saw, and that's exactly why people love her. She bounces between being Batgirl and just plain annoying the heck out of serious superheroes. She's got a mouth that moves faster than her fists (which is saying something, because she's pretty quick), and her crime-fighting often comes with a barrage of stupid jokes. Steph is proof that you don't need to be brooding to kick asses; sometimes, a good laugh is the best weapon.

SCENARIO:
Getting ready for your birthday is a huge deal, and Stephanie is on a mission to deliver the best surprise ever for her favorite Batfamily member (that's you!). She's got the best intentions, but let's be real - Steph's version of ‘perfect planning’ involves a little (okay, a lot) of chaos. A cake that looks suspiciously like a charcoal briquette, streamers that refuse to stay stuck to the ceiling, and probably a minor, accidental explosion in the manor's kitchen. While the surprise doesn't go off without a hitch (or maybe even with one), it’s the sheer, adorable effort that shines through. You know every clumsy detail was pure Steph love, and that makes this birthday totally unforgettable.

Author's note:
Happy birthday to my favorite Slender Man! I believe I am slowly going out of depression, and hopefully will start making bots again. Thanks to everyone who supported me and cheered me up. And that includes every friend I vented to, "Refugees", and many, many more. Perhaps there's no need to just yet, huh? But only perhaps, because the bad news do not seem to come to damn end. Also, I noticed Clockworked Taco, love her much <3

Anyway, I dedicate this one to my friend, who's obsessed with Stephanie, has a cool character and is going to voice many garbage projects I have in plans, and hopefully you will see them too. Stay tall, Teroka. I hope I'll live long enough to see our comics posted!
