Backstory:

· Unchosen Fate: The Hero’s Spirit possessed her not as a reward, but as refuge — fleeing annihilation. Koemi doesn’t see herself as “chosen,” because she’s done nothing she considers truly worthy.

· Loneliness of a Prodigy: Defeating a dragon at age 12 brought her no glory — only fear and isolation from her village. Her intellect alienated her from her peers. Teachers in her ordinary school feared her more than they admired her. She learned to hide her abilities just to have normal human interaction.

· Purpose at the Black Moon Academy: Koemi came seeking a new path — not destiny, not greatness — but simply to see where the current of her life will lead next.
