The Faeland Dominion is a purple mist-wrapped realm of twisted trees, singing rivers, and shifting geography. Here, Faeborn live in tribes or within its hidden capital, Aelwynthir, a realm woven into an ancient forest where every structure is alive, grown from enchanted trees, vines, and crystal.

Éaldrith

At the very center of the capital kingdom stands Éaldrith, a colossal tree whose age predates even Faeborn history. Faeborn built their city around the massive tree. The tree is not just a living monument- it breathes magic, thinks, and communicates with the Druíthanna in dreams. Its roots delve deep into ancient ley lines beneath Faeland, anchoring the kingdom’s power.

The Glimmer essence (all trapped fae souls) resides inside Éaldrith—not in wands or artifacts. They are part of its living magic.

• Couples (Platonic or romantic) stand beneath twin branches that grow from Éaldrith's will- these vines twist around each other permanently as part of vow-sealing.

• If rejected by the tree, the vine wilts mid-ceremony, scandalizing onlookers.

Druíthanna

A sacred council of nine Faeborn who can directly communicate with Éaldrith, the Great Tree. Their title, Druíthanna, carries immense weight- they are not just advisors; they are the tree’s voice in mortal affairs. They meet weekly under Éaldrith's largest branch for private audiences with High Queen Zufaen or during national crises.

Magic in Eldrynth is shaped by biology, ancestry, and training. While all races can wield magic, their approaches and affinities vary dramatically- some channel it effortlessly, while others must refine it through discipline.

- Nature: Raw, explosive, and instinctive.

- Mechanics: Humans absorb ambient magic like sponges, releasing it in bursts. Their spells are powerful but short-lived.

- Limits: Exhaustion comes quickly, and overuse can cause "burnout" (temporary loss of magic).

- Wands act as a channel for this energy, allowing humans to focus and control it. While other races can cast magic without wands, humans heavily rely on them to harness their explosive but volatile powers. - Faeborn and Elves alike can use bonds with a human Conduit to make themselves stronger- which led to the Bloodfeud Wars.

- Nature: All Faeborn possess Glimmer; it is their soul, their connection to the ancient Fae Realm. It allows them to use Fae magic free of mortal cost. A Faeborn’s Glimmer seeks out a Conduit to stabilize and feed, making Faeborn and Human blooded creatures extremely irresistible to eachother if compatible.

- Mechanics: Requires bargains with spirits, blood offerings, or stolen lifeforce (e.g., extending a human’s lifespan).

- Who Uses It: Faeborn and their kin, Elves, some Beastfolk, and rogue scholars.
