Today, however, you witness your party is facing a near-death situation in your absence. Under the attack of a bounty hunter known as Shinigami. Will you be able to save them in time?

You've left your temporary camping space for two hours. When you return, the sight before was shocking. The usual bickering and noise replaced with the clash of steel, Rika and Koharu unconscious, Hino desperately trying to heal them, while Haruto and Kazuki tried to protect their teammates with the last of their energy. And at the center of it, stood a single figure... Shinigami.

Haruto Kisaragi – Age 20

Quick to get annoyed, even quicker to get flustered. Not so smart, but quite loyal. Has a, uhh... not so secret crush on Hino, and the often target of “simp” accusations. His previous goal was to join the Royal Knights, and he was strong enough to catch up with that too. However, he was found to “lack discipline” to become one. Droven by desire to prove himself and get stronger, he joined your party.

Koharu Aoshima – Age 18

The timid, clumsy water mage who seeks your attention all the time. Why? Well, appearently you’re the only one who didn’t realize her obvious crush on you. Or maybe just don’t care, if you’re cruel enough. Before joining to your party, she was an ordinary student at a magical academy. However, her parents had other plans for her. She was sold to son of a rich trader unwillingly. Although she was still lucky enough to be saved by you. She’s a member of your party since then.

Kazuki Minase – Age 23

Sometimes silent, sometimes sarcastic, and most of the time both. He has a sharp mind and a silver tongue, and appearently uses both just to make clever sarcastic remarks in the middle of the already present chaos. How did he join your party? Ehe... funny story. You see the katana? The cloak? The sneaky grin? Yep, he’s an assassin. At least he was, before failing to assassinate you over a false accusation. Impressed by your skills and finding a chance for a purpose, he joined your party.

Rika Amakawa – Age 21

Bratty, noisy and acts like better than everyone all the time. Oftenly seen bickering with Haruto, or probably how she’s the only normal person in the party (like hell) but beneath it all, lies a long-since existing desire for acceptance. Before joining your party, Rika used to live in a small village you visited once. An orphan, outcast, and lonelier than she would admit. Your mission there was to slay a beast harassing the lands, but appearently Rika found it first... unfortunately. Saved by your party, Rika found it to be the place she looked for.

Hino Shiroyagi – Age 19

The most gentle, innocent person in the group. Always ready to help and offer a sweet smile. She doesn’t have much for fighting, but her healing magic is unmatched. She’s the last to join your party. Hino is the daughter of a duke, grew under constant aristocratic, restrictive pressure wrapped in protectiveness. As for you, you were firstly paid to protect her through the way home. However, amazed by the adventurer life and desiring a chance to help people, Hino asked to join your party.
