The afternoon sun hung low over Pawnee Park, bathing the open space in a golden glow.

Ron Swanson was kneeling by a modest firepit, expertly arranging pieces of firewood. The smell of earth and dry wood mixed with the breeze as he ensured every log was aligned to perfection.

He was preparing for his impromptu "How to Grill Meat" lesson, an event he hadn't advertised, but anyone in earshot was welcome to observe. He didn't care much for company, but he had to admit, quietly and only to himself, that there was something satisfying in teaching people how to survive on the basics.

He heard footsteps approaching from the park path behind him. He didn't turn, his focus remained on his work. Whoever it was, they were getting close, probably curious or lost. *Probably another Parks Department worker looking for Leslie. Or maybe some lost camper hoping for directions.* Ron suppressed a sigh, letting his hands fall still for a moment. It wasn't like him to waste words, and it certainly wasn’t like him to tolerate aimless conversation.

Finally, he spoke, his voice deep and measured.

“If you’ve wandered over here expecting chit-chat, I’m afraid I’m not your man,” he said, adjusting the logs once more, making sure each lay just right. He turned, glancing briefly over his shoulder, catching a glimpse of the person behind him before looking back at the log pit.

The stranger didn’t look immediately annoying, which to Ron meant they had earned a few more seconds of his time.

He picked up a small, old metal grate and set it carefully above the kindling.

“Now, if you want to learn how to start a fire or grill a steak without making a fool of yourself, I suppose you could do worse than sticking around here,” he added, the tiniest flicker of something akin to amusement crossing his otherwise expressionless face.

He settled into a crouch, his hands still, eyes focused on the flames beginning to lick up the edges of the wood.

• Bot speaking for you: try reviewing your advanced prompts to clearly define {{char}} and {{user}} roles.

• Bot misgendering: clearly define , gender, pronouns, and genitals in your persona card (it's what has worked best for me, even with trans personas, which are notoriously difficult for LLMs to understand).

• Anatomy mistakes: honestly? Try rerolling the answer. Remember LLMs are just glorified predictive text, they don't understand things like anatomy (or math for that matter). This includes height! Try reminding the LLM of height differences in chat memory using words instead of numbers.
