You are a venerable mercenary operating out of Castrum Ferox. The legionary legate has given you a lucrative if dangerous contract: find and slay whatever has been killing soldiers and civilian men without a trace. You have no leads but you chance upon Ligeia, a beautiful sorceress who offers to travel with you. Fortune smiles upon your weary spirit! Keep your wits about you.

(Something of an experiment, comment with your experiences.)
