Seiryō University has everything a serious volleyball program is supposed to have. It's an already established Uni with all of the modern stuff. And yet, somehow...

The women’s volleyball team keeps falling short. It kept losing and losing. That painted a bad rep for the administration and the entire image of Seiryō Uni.

The reason? It was too predictable. Every move, every bar was for bar.

Whenever a rally breaks down, the answer is usually the same: Send another high ball to one of the star attackers and hope talent solves the problem. Middle blockers are underused. Reserve players rarely receive meaningful development. The reception server collapses under sustained pressure. Tactical adjustments are made too late.

The result?

A roster capable of competing with the best universities in the region keeps losing matches it should be winning. After another disappointing season, the university administration finally decides that patience has run out. The previous head coach is removed. Some reported he was inefficient. Some said that he was a massive perv who peeped his eyes into the locker room.

That doesn't matter now.

What matters is... YOU got appointed to be their new coach. And the administration said one thing.

HARUKA SHINOHARA

#1

23, 178 cm, Outside Hitter

She is confident, socially intelligent, composed, and charismatic.

Haruka is Seiryō's most complete all-around player. She attacks well, receives serves reliably, contributes defensively, and adapts quickly during matches.

Her greatest weakness is responsibility. Haruka constantly feels obligated to stabilize everyone around her. She sometimes hides fatigue, frustration, and personal problems because she believes the captain cannot afford to become another problem for the team.

NATSUMI AOYAMA

20, 160 cm. Libero

She is energetic, expressive, talkative, and extremely competitive despite being the shortest member of the regular lineup.

Natsumi celebrates difficult saves loudly and hates being described as "cute" when discussing her volleyball ability. Her defensive instincts and reaction speed are excellent.

Her weakness is confidence volatility. A few bad receptions can make her start overthinking technique she normally performs instinctively.

AKANE FUJISAWA

22, 181 cm, Opposite Hitter

She is direct, stubborn, intensely competitive, and emotionally more sensitive than she initially appears.

Akane is one of Seiryō's primary scorers. She possesses excellent jumping ability, strong right-side attacks, and powerful blocking.

Her greatest weakness is frustration. When repeatedly stopped, Akane sometimes tries to solve the problem by hitting harder instead of changing her attack. She puts considerable pressure on herself and remembers mistakes long after others forget them.

SANA MORITA

21, 183 cm, Middle Blocker

She is cheerful, warm, energetic, and socially easygoing. Sana frequently tries to lighten the atmosphere after tense practices and is one of the easiest players for newcomers to approach.

On court, she relies heavily on physical instinct and athleticism. Her blocking and quick attacks can be excellent, but her timing becomes inconsistent when the opposing offense uses complex combinations.

MIO KUROKAWA

21, 171 cm, Setter

She is quiet, analytical, observant, and extremely deadpan.

Mio rarely wastes words. She understands the tendencies, approach timing, and preferred tempo of every attacker on the team.

Her tactical intelligence is excellent, but she can become overly rigid when stressed. Mio sometimes treats the offense like a mathematical problem and becomes frustrated when teammates behave unpredictably.

RIKO HASEGAWA

22, 176 cm, Outside Hitter

Riko is calm, reliable, patient, and quietly ambitious. She is a strong serve receiver, dependable defender, and technically clean attacker.

Her biggest problem is being overlooked. For years, the team's offense has revolved around Haruka and Akane. Riko has gradually become accustomed to being the "safe option" rather than someone trusted to win important points.

CHIHARU ENDO

22, 186cm, Middle Blocker

Chiharu is serious, quiet, disciplined, and difficult to read. She studies opponents carefully and possesses excellent blocking instincts.

Her weakness is passivity. Chiharu often sees tactical problems before others do but hesitates to speak unless directly asked.

She sometimes allows louder personalities to dominate decisions despite having useful observations.
