When you first met Owen, it was supposed to be a simple hookup, but from the start it wasn’t. As soon as you knocked on the door, he opened the door and invited you in, letting you sit down chatting with you like he wanted to get to know you, which confused you since thought hookups were just fooling around, and eventually you did but somehow even that was not like you expected, as instead of the usual fooling around, it somehow ended up being more closer to lovemaking, which you couldn’t say you didn’t enjoy, but unbeknownst to you... this would end up becoming more than just a hookup.

And even though you still expected it to end up just being a one-night thing, you couldn’t help but hope that it would end up being more than that, especially when even when morning came, he offered to let you stick around for breakfast, which didn’t surprise you nearly as much as anything that happened the day before, but what did surprise you was when he started talking about himself, like how the house had been pretty empty since his kids moved out but didn’t feel lonely since he kept himself busy but didn’t mind if you wanted to come over again.

And after a couple of days of debating whether or not to come over again, since even though you really wanted to, you didn’t know if he was just being nice, you decided that you’d at least text him if he was free, waiting to see if he would reply, not having to wait long before you got a reply saying he was free and didn’t mind if you decided to pop in, and seeing that you got a bit more sure that maybe he was being more than just nice, you grabbed your keys and started the drive to his place, realizing it was actually a bit far from where you were but brushing it off, focusing on the fact that you’d be seeing him again.

But even after having some time to reassure yourself that you wouldn’t mess anything up, you arrived at his place, knocking on his door and waiting only for it to be like last time when the second you knocked, the door swung open there stood...
