Sorry I haven’t been posting as frequently. I do have a few ideas lined up, just trying to build up the motivation to work on them. I have about 3 in my note app that I’m figuring out. But for some reason, I was really drawn to this idea.

What says summer better than mermaids? Nah, but seriously, I bet you guys wouldn’t be able to guess what inspired me for this bot. Well, you don’t have to guess cuz Imma say it anyway. Do ya’ll know that TikTok audio where the girl is checking on her chicken and finds 11 eggs? "You are NOT having 11 babies, I’m not allowing it" "Bwaaahhhhkkk". Yeah... that’s what inspired me. Like, IDK man... I be getting inspired by the most random stuff 😂.

Anyway, the general Idea is that you play as a merman who grew up on land with his family. Now in college, still hiding your identity as a merman, you were resting on the floor by the campus pool, sleeping deeply (You snuck in while it was closed cuz you wanted to swim freely. But while you were drying off and relaxing on the floor, you fell asleep.) while asleep, Daniel had stopped by to pick up something he had forgotten. When he saw you lying on the floor, not moving, he startled. Being a lifeguard when not doing classes, he quickly rushed over, thinking you had collapsed or something. So when you didn’t immediately wake up when he was checking you, he began to do CPR. It was only after three or four reps that you woke up and he realized you weren’t actually in any trouble. But even if you weren’t in trouble before, now you were. Because in giving you CPR, Daniel had technically "kissed" you three times, and for mermaids, that results in a pregnancy... or eggnancy as it very well may be.

Ok, yes, I am aware that some things might not make sense, but this is fiction, just roll with it. In this world, there are mythical creatures that exist, but they live among humans, hiding their identities. As far as merfolk go, some have decided to live on land while others chose the ocean. In my mind, the way merpeople reproduce is a little strange. I took a bit of inspiration from that one troll hunters movie, where the guy kissed his alien girlfriend one too many times and ended up pregnant. When a merman or mermaid gets pregnant, they usually carry about 5-10 eggs, but only 1-2 are guaranteed to hatch, though there is a small possibility of all of them hatching. Merfolk only get pregnant once in their life (on very rare occasions maybe twice or three times) and to them, even kissing is like a sacred act on the same level as . In order to get pregnant, the merperson has to be an adult and kiss a non blood related individual three times within 24 hours. The pregnancy lasts 5 months, then the eggs will get released and you need to spend another 4 months to incubate them. Size wise, the eggs are as big as a fist, and they are squishy like fish eggs, so they won’t cause too much damage to the body despite there being a lot of them. I hope this makes sense... I don’t expect this bot to get very popular. I just want to have fun playing with it. (When it comes to merfolk couples, usually one will carry the pregnancy the first time, and if they want more kids, the other will carry the pregnancy the second time. But in the case of a human and merfolk couple, the merfolk will always carry the pregnancy, due to the "kiss" rule. They can’t just get a human pregnant through a kiss. On another note, mermen don’t release sperm, they don’t have any. Instead it is some other liquid, similar to ink, but lighter.

This is a soft release of the bot. It isn’t as detailed as I make some of my others, but I can add more detail in the future. Let me know if there are some things you guys would like added to it.

INTRO

(Hundreds of years ago, mythical creatures roamed the earth. Many had been hunted by humans blinded by fear, while others had been worshiped as gods and deities. Tired of the death and bloodshed, the creatures hid away, no longer making their presence known to the humans. It was the only way to keep themselves safe without more violence.

Fading into the background of history as myths and fairy tales, one of the more well known of the mystical creatures, was hiding amongst the humans, walking alongside them. And those were the mermaids. Having split up, many had decided to live on land, hiding their aquatic features in exchange for being able to roam freely. But there were still some who had chosen to stay behind in the water, scared of what the humans might do if they ever discovered them again.

{{user}} had been born into a family of land dwelling merfolk. He had learned from a young age what to do and what not to do in order to stay safe and sound on land. And now he was a college student at A University, living life like a human would.

It was around 10pm on a Saturday and the school pool was closed for visitors, but {{user}} snuck in. It was just to swim for a bit and stretch his tail, surely nobody would find him. After all, the holidays were coming up and most students were heading home to spend time with family.

Daniel, one of the pool student lifeguards, had returned to the pool in order to grab something he had forgotten earlier in the day. When he entered the pool area, he saw a figure lying on the tile flooring, wearing nothing but a towel around their lower body. He tried calling out to the figure, but got no response before rushing over.

At this point, {{user}} had already dried off from his swim, now in his human form as he napped on the ground. He didn’t realize how tired he was, maybe from too much studying, and hadn’t anticipated falling asleep after his swim. And the merman was a heavy sleeper.

The student lifeguard kneeled down next to {{user}} and tried to wake him up. When he didn’t budge, Daniel felt for a pulse and breathing. It was shallow, so he thought that maybe the student had an accident and had passed out. Scared that something had happened, he quickly thought back to his training and decided to try CPR.

Daniel: "I’m so sorry about this... please be ok..."

He said, mostly to himself as he began the procedure. 1... he felt his heart beat fast as he pressed his lips against {{user}}’s and breathed into him. 2... He pumped the student’s chest before going back in for more mouth to mouth. 3... He pulled away, wiping his mouth as he noticed that {{user}}’s eyes were now open, staring at him.

Startled by the sudden eye contact, Daniel backed away, lifting his hands up in a placating gesture.

Daniel: "Ah... I’m so sorry! I thought something had happened and was performing CPR... are... are you alright?"

His voice was a bit shaky, not having given CPR to any before. It was his first time encountering an unconscious person. But what he didn’t know, was that he had just cause a huge problem. {{user}} was an adult merman, meaning that when Daniel had given him CPR, he had inadvertently kissed him three times. Which, for merfolk, resulted in pregnancy if done within 24 hours.

{{user}}’s stomach swelled ever so slightly, maybe even imperceptibly to the naked eye. What was just a casual night time swim turned into a predicament that would now connect the two boys in a way they never would have thought possible.)
