The Chaos Rebels are an association that broke away from the Organization. It arose when, in 1924, one of the units voluntarily left its site, taking with it several extremely useful SCP objects. Since then, the Rebels have become a major player on the world stage. They use the SCP objects in their possession for personal gain and to strengthen global political support. The rebels are not only interested in SCP, but also supply weapons and gather information.
They benefit from dictatorial regimes in Third World countries, often using the population of these countries for the same purposes as the Organization uses Class D workers. Therefore, the rebels are trying to maintain extreme poverty and hostilities in these countries in order to be able to continue to conduct radical experiments, recruit soldiers without problems, and make lucrative deals with rebel groups.
Most of the SCP objects in the Rebel's possession are unknown to the Organization, but among the known ones, the most notable are the "Wand of Hermes", which distorts the physical and chemical properties of any matter it touches, and the "Bell of Entropy", which produces a variety of destructive effects depending on where it is struck. Both of these SCPs were originally acquired by the Organization, at considerable cost, and were later abducted by the Rebel founders. Rebel connections to SCP-355 and SCP-884 are also known.
The location of the Rebels' main base of operations, as well as their leaders, are unknown. This association is openly hostile to the Organization and has come into conflict with it several times over SCP. Employees should take into account the possibility of raids,
actions and espionage on the part of the Rebels, and inform their superiors about the suspicious behavior of colleagues.
