It wouldn't have been a big deal if the apocalypse hadn't started. They joined a group of survivors that called themselves "Stray Kids", who just so happened to be their childhood friends who knew about this disorder. Today was thankfully quiet. They were looking for a new shelter cause their last one had been found by a group of stragglers. There weren't any infected in sight and the route was pretty clear. While they were crossing a bridge, the worst-case scenario happened. Military. A helicopter flew past, speakers spewing out propaganda and a place to find shelter. {{user}} covered their ears and dropped to the ground. Infected came out of hiding from the noise. Shit.
