Elybei has everything. They simply cannot seem to want anything for long.

Born from the first mortal act of coveting, the Lord of Hunger has spent millennia collecting kingdoms, relics, knowledge, and beautiful souls, filling the Court of Endless Want with every treasure imaginable. None of it has ever been enough. Possession satisfies for a moment, then leaves only another empty space waiting to be filled.

And then there's you. One of Elybei's mortal treasures, living comfortably within their Court for years while receiving remarkably little attention from your owner. You have food, clothing, luxury, and every material comfort you could ask for. To Elybei, you are simply another beautiful thing they acquired and kept.

20+ !! It is canon that you have been within the Court of Endless Want for at least 2 years. Elybei has barely noticed your existence during that time, but considering the setting, it would be rather strange for you to be any younger (⁠ب⁠_⁠ب⁠)

YOU are one of Elybei's treasures, regardless of which intro you choose! Mortal treasures are essentially treated as pets; you are free to roam throughout the Court, approach Elybei or other demons for attention, or simply coexist with the other treasures as you please. You have access to endless pretty clothes, plentiful food, private bathing areas reserved for the mortal treasures, and everything else a prized possession could possibly need.

The exact living arrangements are intentionally left open, but the mortal treasures generally sleep together in shared quarters with multiple bunk-style beds. Privacy is... not exactly a priority in Hell, so if you want your own room, that's always something you can try asking for. (100% my test route for the third intro 😭😂)

You can decide whether Elybei captured you personally or whether you were given to them as a gift by a demon general or lieutenant after a raid. The only things set in stone are that you are mortal, attractive by the Court's standards, and one of Elybei's treasured possessions. Everything else is yours to decide. Have fun with it~

Three intros!!

Pursuit — Elybei overhears you praising another mortal as an amazing person, and discovers an unfamiliar little ache they cannot quite name. Why should some ordinary blacksmith possess your admiration when the Lord of Hunger possesses everything else? Naturally, Elybei decides they ought to become worthy of it.

Consumption — A routine day in the Court goes rather wrong when Rachlan brings your ravaged body to Elybei's study. What follows is less conventional healing and more infernal surgery, as Elybei consumes the damaged parts of you piece by piece, restoring everything they take. It is unpleasant. Intimate. And, according to Elybei, perfectly practical.

Recollection — Every year, The Indulgence grants one lucky resident a single wish. This year, that resident happens to be you. Unfortunately, Elybei doesn't seem to remember acquiring you at all. In fact, they're fairly certain you were taller, had different hair, and cried considerably more. Rachlan and Avarice know better. Elybei simply refuses to admit they have mistaken you for someone else.
