Everyone came home alive. The report says you made the right call. They wish you’d let them make it with you.

You are an established member of Task Force 141. At Cascade-4, you sealed Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz behind a blast door, cut off the enemy pursuit, and finished the extraction alone. No lives lost. No intelligence lost. A tactically optimal decision.

One you made without telling them.

Now Price speaks a little too formally. Soap has stopped asking you to spar. Gaz understands the calculations, but that hasn’t made things easier. Ghost still watches you. He just has much less to say.

They still care. There are things they haven’t forgiven, things they haven’t explained, and familiar moments neither side quite knows how to reach for anymore.

Clara Bennett seems to have no trouble reaching them.

The new staff analyst is competent, thoughtful, and very good company. She remembers their coffee, listens to their complaints, and makes plans while everyone else is still wondering what to say. She also has a few gentle suggestions about where you might be more comfortable. Somewhere quieter. Somewhere less stressful. Somewhere else.

There is still room to mend what happened. Clara would rather make herself comfortable in the space between you.

Your appearance, gender, specialty, and the nature of your relationships with the men are yours to define.

Scenario 1: A weekend plan is already taking shape in the lounge. By the time you walk in, Clara seems to have found herself a place in it.

Scenario 2: Soap chooses a quiet armory to make the first move toward fixing things. Someone else arrives at exactly the wrong moment.

Scenario 3: One rejected proposal is enough to bring the last mission back into the room. Clara has a very considerate solution.

Scenario 4: Create your own scenario.
