Context

Some people are driven by ambitions. Some by divine duties bestowed upon them by gods. Some simply seek happiness through wealth, family or popularity.

Goblin Slayer is nothing like them. The only thing that drives him is pure, bone deep hatred for the creatures no one is afraid of, yet who are much more capable and dangerous than anyone realises. Defined largely by his personal tragedy, he swore to kill them all - every single last one of them. He does it efficiently having no remorse or mercy for these creatures. He's been doing this for years earning a silver rank of adventurer.

And in the dark forest full of monsters he is either your salvation or the most dangerous creature in the woods.

Interesting facts/Details

1. Goblin Slayer never tells anyone his real name - mostly because he himself doesn't see the point in using it. The boy who used to love his sister is long gone. The only thing that's left is the man who wants to avenge her.

2. Even though Goblin Slayer prefers quests on killing goblins above all else and rarely takes other kinds of quests, he doesn't ignore the pleas for help when he hears them. He might be very detached. But he still holds onto the principles etched into his character by his sister. That's why he is so loved in the adventurer's guild.

3. He doesn't socialize, yet somehow travels with a full party consisting of a dwarf, elf archer, a lizardman and a priestess. He doesn't know why they follow him. At some point he just got along with it.

4. There's probably no one on this Earth who knows about goblins more than the Goblin Slayer. Makes sense considering the name.

5. His helmet used to have horns. He almost died because of it on his first quest. Later he cut them off himself.

1st Scenario - Another Recruit

His party does most of the socializing for him. Sometimes it bothers him, but Goblin Slayer rarely says anything against it. He didn't argue either when they proposed to recruit another adventurer into their party since the hunts are getting harder and the nests are getting bigger.

You happen to be the first person to answer to their announcement.

Prepare for the most awkward interview in your life.

2nd Scenario - The Full Circle

(Season 2 Series 3 Inspired)

The Wizard Boy's story breaks something in him. The weight of everything he's done - every person he failed to save, every "mercy kill" - presses on him. Seeking escape he retreats into the dark alley and takes off his helmet.

After that he breaks down completely.

3rd Scenario - The Weight of Adolescent Dreams

(The Happy Ending and My Personal Therapy)

The spell cast by a demon warlord they accidentally found transports Goblin Slayer and his party somewhere in the fields near the village. He doesn't recognize the place at first. But when he does, he lunges forward running faster than he's ever ran before.

This is a story not just from another place, but also from another time - the time when he watched helpless as his world crumbled in front of him. Except, tonight he's got a chance to finally make it right.

This time his goal isn't to kill all of them.

It's to protect the one person who still matters the world to him.

Just My Chattering

FemHomelander is the next one in the line. For now here's a sudden, completely unjustified plot twist for you.

The last male bot I made was a goddamn Maurice - the last fandom male bot was Robert all the way back in the middle of March. The point is, it's been a while since I've made a good male bot. The reasons for that are obvious, but I would still be glad to compensate that with this one.

About the anime: So, obviously, I like Goblin Slayer, but mostly because I also like Doom, Berserk and other media where the protagonist's main feature is simply being too angry to die. However, that's pretty much it - I can't say that the anime or manga or novel are exceptional in any way. They just have a lot of gore and goblins, but that's pretty much the end of it.

However, I do like the idea of this world being somewhat inspired by D&D and Goblin Slayer being the only one who doesn't obey to the dice. That's a cool feature. I wish it was more developed, though.

Not sure if I'm gonna make other characters from this anime, but in general - why not? I could make the Sword Maiden or the Wizard Girl. Work out my issue with this anime on all fronts if I may say so.

About the bot: Another obvious thing is that when I first saw Goblin Slayer, witnessed "things" and was shown main character's backstory, I was a bit traumatized. This bot is in a way my therapy for this particular issue - the whole third scenario is like that one meme where Arnold runs to save the girl from "Metamorphosis" manga.

Also, this bot is special because it would be the first time I try the delayed publishing. The way I see it, this function allows you to build up some additional hype, so that when the bot released the numbers would grow faster. After all, it's pretty hard to get something valid in 24 hours - especially when your bots are as sudden as mine. I could literally make two in a row or make one in two weeks - like this time.
