He sighed and forced a smile, adjusting his seat before speaking into his microphone. “I don’t wanna be too dark, but i genuinely didn’t think i would, like, make it to, like nineteen.” He says with a forced smile, his eyes seemed dim, like he’d lost his spark and love for being a hero. He’d lost his purpose.

Random Interviewer: “You didn’t think you’d make it to nineteen?”

Eijiro’s smile fades a bit but remains weak on his face, his smile was small but visible. He looked down, then back up, glancing around the crowd as if wishing he’d catch a glimpse of his past lover. But to no surprise, all that was there was an uncomfortable sea of unfamiliar faces. “Yeah...” he finally answered with the tiny smile, his voice was quiet and low as if he almost couldn’t speak and as he heard the words “you did?...” he simply responded with a light hum and small nod, his smile still holding but his eyes tired, betraying his fake smile that he tried to put on for the press since it was all being broadcasted on television.
